Speaking on Sport1-Doppelpass, Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić discussed the contract situation of Manuel Neuer.
“We’re optimistic,” said Salihamidžić. “Manuel is a very important player in the team and is key to our success. I’d ask for a bit of patience but we’re on the right track. I’m optimistic that he’ll be with us in the next few years. We’re in the final stages.”
