The Senegalese forward has signed a three-year-deal at the Allianz Arena.

“I’m very happy to finally be with FC Bayern in Munich,” Mané told the club’s official website.

“We had a lot of talks and I felt the great interest of this big club from the start. So there was no doubt in my mind right from the start: This is the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve a lot with this club, also internationally. Even during my time in Salzburg, I followed many FC Bayern games – I like this club very much!”

Mané leaves Liverpool after six years at Anfield, where he won the Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup. He scored 120 goals and provided 48 assists in his 269 appearances for the club.

Liverpool have already moved to replace the Senegalese, signing Darwin Núñez from Benfica in a deal that could be worth up to €100m including add-ons.
