According to a report from Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich are close to reaching an agreement with Liverpool to sign Luis Diaz (28) during the summer transfer window. The Bundesliga champions are confident that an agreement can be reached with the Premier League champions for the transfer of the Colombian international attacker.

Diaz has made it clear that he wishes to leave Anfield this summer. The Merseyside outfit does not intend to offer the 28-year-old a new contract. As a result, the former Porto forward wants to seek a new opportunity elsewhere. Bayern Munich are at the front of the queue for his signature. Saudi Arabian clubs and Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the Liverpool forward.

The Bavarian club believe that the Reds will accept their latest offer for the forward, which is in the region of €75m. Diaz was left out of the Premier League club’s recent friendly against AC Milan as his future remains uncertain.
