Bayern Munich chief Hasan Salihamidzic insists there's no concern over Sadio Mane's form.

The former Liverpool striker has battled for consistency in his first Bundesliga season.

But Salihamidzic told BILD: "Sadio still needs some time. He has to get used to the Bundesliga, but he will. I know what it's like to come to a new team, in another city, another country with a different football culture.

"I came to Juventus when I was 30 years old. I had won the Champions League, the Bundesliga and the Cup with Bayern, but even as an experienced successful player you need a while to get used to your new environment to be able to focus fully on football and perform regularly. Sadio is still in this process. Everything will soon become more familiar to him and we will soon see it on the field.

"I talk to him regularly, but I also give him space. He has to organise himself in a way where he feels at home in Munich - he does. Sadio is one of the best players in the world. He will deliver very good performances. We will still have a lot of joy with him."
