Kicker reports that Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman’s move to Al-Nassr is not necessarily a done deal yet. In a very interesting development, Kicker claims that the Bundesliga club isn’t satisfied with the terms negotiated by Bayern board-member-for-sport Max Eberl. The German record champions are thus contravening their own top personnel executive.
Eberl is thought to have negotiated a transfer fee that can rise to €30m with bonuses. This is apparently unsatisfactory to the Bayern board, who wish to obtain far more for their valued player. Such a fact can only serve to further increase the strain between Eberl and the club board. Eberl already hasn’t exactly had the most successful summer when it comes to landing FCB transfer targets.
The situation can still be easily remedied if Eberl can negotiate a better deal with the Saudi outfit. Al-Nassr certainly possess the financial resources to pay more. Eberl may nevertheless find himself hamstrung if the Peninsula side doesn’t wish to budge. The fact that Coman himself wishes to move leaves Eberl in a poor negotiating position.
