Bayern Munich failed in their attempt to sign right-back Denso Kasius from Utrecht in the January window, Voetbal International has confirmed.
Bayern have been linked with a plethora of right-backs and will undoubtedly look to strengthen themselves in the position this summer.
VI claim that Bayern attempted to hijack Kasius’ move to Bologna over the weekend but the teenager ended up with the Serie A side for roughly €3m.
The player has spent the last 12 months in the Dutch second division with Volendam, contributing five goals and two assists in 21 games this season.
However, he did not make a single first-team appearance with Utrecht, strongly suggesting that Kasius would have needed time to bring himself into first-team training.
