Bayern Munich will face AEK Athens, Benfica, and Ajax in Group E.

Bayern come into the group stages as overwhelming favourites to top their group, as they face greatly inferior opposition with a very healthy roster.

Kingsley Coman is the only injured Bayern player at the moment and is expected to return by the end of the group stages.

Bayern have also named an eight-man ‘B-list’. Any players born on January 1997 or thereafter do not have to be included in the ‘A-list’, as long as they have been with the club for at least two seasons.

Teams are allowed to have an unlimited number of players on the ‘B-list’.

Bayern Munich’s 24-man ‘A-list’ squad:

Defenders: Niklas Süle, Mats Hummels, Rafinha, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba, Joshua Kimmich, Lars Lukas Mai
