Bayern Munich have made a contract offer to Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marchus Thuram worth almost double what Inter have offered the Frenchman.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who reported earlier this afternoon that the German champions have offered Thuram a deal worth €7 million net per season, compared to the €4 million net per season put forward by the Nerazzurri.

Inter have been in talks with Thuram’s representatives about a move possibly as early as the January transfer window.

The Nerazzurri’s offer is for around €4 million net per season, in addition to add-ons.

However, Bayern have now made their own offer to try and sign the Gladbach forward, and it is significantly higher than the Nerazzurri’s, at around €7 million net per season.

According to Mediaset, Inter are more inclined to sign Gladbach in January for a fee whereas Bayern are offering him a contract next summer when he is available on a free transfer.
