Bayern Munich are seemingly goind all-in: according to BILD and BILD journalist Christian Falk, the Bavarians have submitted a €52 million offer for Luis Díaz!
Bayern’s bid of €52 million should (in theory) fall well short of Liverpool’s expected €80 million valuation - but reports indicate that Díaz has informed Bayern of his desire to join, and that Liverpool have a gentleman’s agreement to allow him to leave if an acceptable offer arrives!
Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl is prepared to meet the challenge, potentially raising the package to €60 million plus bonuses to match the threshold Liverpool may accept.
Liverpool has publicly reiterated that Díaz is not for sale, having rejected earlier approaches from both Bayern and Barcelona.
Nevertheless, speculation continues: it seems likely that Bayern and Liverpool could meet in the middle in order to agree on a transfer fee, which would be acceptable to all parties involved.
For now, Bayern have signaled their intent with a concrete offer, Díaz has privately expressed readiness, and Liverpool hold the cards - this saga may heat up significantly in the days ahead.
