Bayern Munich have reportedly made a second bid for Stade Rennais teenager Désiré Doué.
That’s according to reports from both L’Equipe and Sky Germany who say that the German giants have gone back in to land Doué, with the player supposedly keen on a switch to the Bundesliga.
Doué was a sensation in Ligue 1 last term, playing 31 times for the Brittany club and scoring four goals.
Paris Saint-Germain were believed to be keen on the 19-year-old’s signature but reports from Sky claim that Doué prefers a switch to the Allianz Arena.
Bayern had an initial approach for the winger rejected last week and now RMC Sport say that Vincent Kompany’s side’s second offer is €55m plus bonuses.
If true, that would make Doué Bayern’s fourth-most expensive signing of all time, just ahead of the €53m they paid Crystal Palace for Michael Olise earlier this summer.
