After Dusan Vlahovic, FC Bayern seems to have suffered the next transfer failure. According to current media reports, FCB flirt Julian Alvarez is on the verge of a move to Manchester City.

Alvarez was traded in recent weeks repeatedly at FC Bayern. The player himself has curiously spilled the beans on the Munich club’s interest. However, a move to the Isar seems to be off the table. As “90min” reports, Manchester City has decided the race for the 21-year-old striker in his favor.

ManCity pulls the exit clause with Alvarez

According to the portal, the Sky Blues have decided to pull the get-out clause in Alvarez’s contract. According to the report, Manchester City will pay 24 million euros to River Plate. The two clubs are said to have reached an agreement to this effect and the official confirmation of the deal is expected to take place in the coming days. However, Alvarez will not immediately move to the Citizens, but will remain with River Plate until the summer.

In addition to Bayern, Alvarez was also recently linked with Borussia Dortmund. At BVB, he was considered a potential successor to Erling Haaland.
