Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has opted to address a number of issues after the club’s historic treble win.
Speaking to Welt, he referenced the futures of David Alaba and Jerôme Boateng, while also highlighting the need for a new right-back.
You can find all the quotes down below …
“It would be a shame if we didn’t come to an agreement. David has been with us for twelve years and fits at Bayern perfectly.
“What we need now is a bit of humility from the player and agents when it comes to the wages. That hasn’t been felt yet.”
“That’s what coach Hansi Flick has requested. He wants a back-up for Benjamin Pavard.”
“We’ll have to wait. I like how he developed under coach Flick.
“He has absolutely become an FC Bayern player again. He made a valuable contribution to our titles.”
“Javi is considering leaving us too. His contract is still valid for one year and we have told him that we won’t stand in his way.
“He has to decide where he wants to go, then we will try to find a fair solution.”
