Players at Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed to cut their salaries by 20 per cent for the duration of the coronavirus crisis.
There has been no Bundesliga action since March 8 following the Covid-19 pandemic which has cut a swathe across Europe and the world.
And with no football taking place for the foreseeable future there have been concerns that some people may lose their jobs as a result.
But Bild say that both sets of players have independently held meetings this week where they have agreed to take a drastic pay cut for the remainder of this outbreak.
It means that no one working for the club, match day staff included, will be laid off as a result,
