Despite their success in the Bundesliga this season as well as the prospect of a potential DFB-Pokal and Europa League, Bayer Leverkusen will likely have to make a big sale this summer, reports Sport Bild.

The likely candidate to be sold in the summer is Piero Hincapié. The 22-year-old has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and Chelsea. The rumoured price tag of €50m would allow Leverkusen to refresh their squad as they look to retain the Bundesliga title.

The future of Jeremie Frimpong is still uncertain. The right-wing back has a release clause valued at €40m which expires before the beginning of the Euros. Frimpong has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal and former club Manchester City as well as Real Madrid but no club has made any decision on if they want to sign the Dutch international.

Adam Hložek is likely to leave the club in the summer as he has failed to live up to his potential since joining from Sparta Prague. His reputation from his time at Sparta means he could be sold for around €10m and has attracted interest from Lazio, Roma, Leicester and Leeds United. The interest from Leeds may see Leverkusen try and conduct a swap deal for Crysencio Summerville which would include Hložek and a transfer fee.
