Bayer Leverkusen whizkid Florian Wirtz admits he has ambitions of playing for Barcelona.

The 17 year-old winger is a first teamer this season at Bayer and a Germany U21 international.

“As a little boy I always wanted to play for Barcelona. Nothing has changed about that, but I still have some time until then," he told BILD.

Under contract with the Werkself until 2023, he is not considering a move for the time being.

Rather, his focus is on "winning as many games as possible with Bayer 04".
