Bayer Leverkusen have turned down an offer from Aston Villa for winger Leon Bailey.

The talented 23-year-old, who is on international duty with Jamaica at present, wants to move to the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Villa have not been successful with their £25 million bid to secure Bailey.

The winger managed 15 goals and 11 assists in 40 games for Leverkusen last term.

Villa are likely to go back in with another offer as they look to build a team that is worthy of competing for a European spot in the Premier League.
