Bayer Leverkusen enquire about French defender Loïc Badé | OneFootball

According to L’Équipe, the 2023-24 Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have made an enquiry to Sevilla FC about Loïc Badé (25).

There are reportedly several clubs interested in the former RC Lens defender, who joined the La Liga club in January 2023.

The man born in Sévres, France has one senior cap for the French national team and was a part of the Olympic squad that claimed the silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He was on the Sevilla side that won the UEFA Europa League in 2023 for a record seventh time.

Badé is under contract with the club from Andalusia until 2029. Last season, Los Nervionenses narrowly avoided relegation, finishing just a point above Léganes to remain in La Liga for this upcoming campaign. He’s made over 70 appearances in the Spanish top-flight after seeing his loan with Premier League side Nottingham Forest terminated in early January 2023.
