Amine Adli confirmed his imminent departure from Bayer Leverkusen this Friday, August 15, 2025. The Moroccan international forward gave an emotional farewell to supporters after the 4-0 victory over SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the German Cup.

The 25-year-old appears to be nearing the end of his German adventure after three seasons with Bayer Leverkusen. In fact, Friday night had all the hallmarks of a farewell match for the former Toulouse player. Starting against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the first round of the German Cup, Adli provided an assist before being substituted at halftime. After the match, which Leverkusen won 4-0, Adli went to the stands to greet the fans, tears in his eyes. This gesture strongly signals his imminent move to the Premier League.

As a reminder, Bournemouth and Bayer Leverkusen are currently negotiating the terms of the Moroccan winger's transfer. A personal agreement has already been reached between Adli and the Cherries, while the German club is demanding 30 million euros to let their player leave, who is still under contract until 2028.

Arriving in 2021 from Toulouse FC, Amine Adli has played 143 official matches for Bayer. He has scored 23 goals and provided 24 assists. With three years remaining on his contract, the player has made clear his desire to move to England as early as this summer.
