Genero Adran League leaders Cardiff City Women scrape a 2-1 win over struggling Pontypridd United, Barry Town United overtake hosts Cardiff Met.

Cardiff City Women 2-1 Pontypridd United Cardiff Met 0-1 Barry Town United (Att: 157) Wrexham 1-0 Aberystwyth Town (Att: 351) Swansea City 5-0 The New Saints (Att: 91)

Cardiff City Women maintained their six-point advantage at the top but only after a narrow 2-1 result against winless Pontypridd United. Ponty’s Efa Preece-Jones quickly cancelled out Siobhan Walsh’s penalty but Elize Collie grabbed the winner for Cardiff.

Second-placed Swansea City sank The New Saints 5-0, Katy Hosford and Stacey John-Davis both bagging a brace, Samantha Wynne with the other goal.

Wrexham got the only goal of the game against Aberystwyth, Carra Jones with the breakthrough early in the second half.

Barry leapfrogged Cardiff Met into sixth with a 1-0 win away to the Archers, Aimee Deacon converting from the spot with 16 minutes to go.

Bangor 0-4 NFA (Att: 35) Airbus UK Broughton 0-4 Felinheli (Att: 25) Connah’s Quay Nomads 0-2 Llandudno (Att: 89)

Llandudno won the top-of-the-table clash at Connah’s Quay Nomads to lead them by six points but from a game more. Third-placed Felinheli put four past hosts Airbus, NFA won at Bangor by the same score to nudge in front of them on goal-difference.

Pontardawe Town 1-2 Cascade (Att: 25) Cwmbran Celtic 5-1 Llanelli Town (Att: 51) Briton Ferry Llansawel 5-1 Swansea University (Att: 25)

Briton Ferry beat Swansea University 5-1 to lead the table by two points, with two games in hand on second-placed Cascade, who won at Pontardawe. Third-placed Cwmbran Celtic sank Llanelli Town 5-1

Mewanwhile, Coed Duon have sadly withdrawn from the league but will continue to play in the fifth tier.
