We know we’ve been a bit quiet recently, but in a rare Ibrox Noise update we bring you our view of Barry Ferguson as manager.
Regulars to the site over the years will know we have a lot of time for Barry but his backing of the secondhand car salesman then Clement did suggest his judgement may be questionable at times.
But there is no denying he is absolutely one of us and truly knows what it is to be a Ranger.
We had a lot of optimism when we saw the management team, especially Neil McCann, but we had a lot of caution when Barry endorsed Tavernier as captain suggesting he was the perfect leader to go forward with.
And 2 down at rugby Park everyone’s worst fears appeared to be becoming true.
Thankfully the switch of removing Clinton and bringing on Ridvan swung the match in Rangers favour and we never really looked back after that.
But in context, Kilmarnock are atrocious this season: they never recovered from being in Europe earlier this campaign and has been an abysmal season for Derek McInnes.
But it is always a tough place to go.
We like Barry, all Rangers fans should like Barry even if some of his views are questionable at times.
Few Rangers men know what it takes to win quite like Barry does and we wish him the best luck in making a good fist of this position he now has.
This is his dream job and he’ll be hoping he can make it work. So do we.
