Barragan warns Real Betis fullback Emerson: Barcelona another planet

Elche fullback Antonio Barragan has warned Emerson Royal against pushing to leave Real Betis.

The pair played together last season before Barragan's departure over the summer.

The veteran defender said: “Emerson is a very good footballer, he's young, they have a right-back for a while. Also with (Martin) Montoya. I think the right side has been covered very well. I am sure that when everything returns to normal, the position will be strong."

Regarding the possibilities of the Brazilian joining Barcelona, which hold his registration in co-ownership, Barragan added: “The games will decree that. He is showing a good level, the Primera is very demanding.
