Bari supporters continue their feud with the De Laurentiis family, particularly with Partenopei President Aurelio, who recently declared the Serie B outfit ‘the second team’ of Napoli.

Bari are officially owned by the same company as Napoli; Italian media firm Filmauro, which was founded by Aurelio De Laurentiis and his father Luigi.

ADL’s son, also named Luigi, is the current chairman at Bari, who currently sit in 15th place in the Italian second division, despite finishing third and being one game away from promotion at the end of the 2022-23 season.

In response to ADL’s recent comments about Bari being Napoli’s second team, supporters have put up an 11-metre long banner, which reads: “Baresi, second to nobody”.

The banner is up in Rome, and it is believed that the intended target is Luigi De Laurentiis, who resides in the capital.
