Chelsea welcome West Ham after being frustrated by a goalless draw at Brighton on Sunday, while the Hammers were defeating Everton 3-0.

The Blues are two points behind second-placed Manchester United with two game in hand, West Ham sit in seventh spot.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Sam Kerr, who is currently away playing for her country at the Asian Cup, has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for her service to football.

Arsenal lead the table by two points – and are four in front of Emma Hayes’ side from a game more – following their stoppage-time leveller at Manchester City last time out.

Visitors Brighton are down in eighth place, their draw with Chelsea having ended a run of defeats for Hope Powell’s team.

After Sunday’s result, Albion keeper Megan Walsh told brightonandhovealbion.com: “We’ve come together today as a team and we can do it again on Thursday, so bring it on.”
