Barclays #FAWSL: Topscoring teams clash on Sunday evening | OneFootball

Manchester City meet Arsenal for Sunday’s late kick off in a clash of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League’s two most prolific goalscoring teams.

Man City go into the game with the leaders on the back of a free-scoring run, netting 25 times in six straight wins – including two Conti Cup ties – while the Gunners have lost four of their last five games in all competitions.

Chelsea trail Arsenal by four points but with a game in hand as they head to Brighton for a lunchtime start, Manchester United take on Tottenham in a meeting of third and fourth at noon.

West Ham welcome Everton with the Hammers three points ahead of their visitors, Birmingham City are bottom by two points before their match at Reading, Leicester City are just above the drop zone and have a chance to gain ground on visitors Aston Villa.

Top of the bill in the Championship is Crystal Palace at home to Liverpool, with the Reds seven points clear but the Eagles one of a tight bunch of five sides chasing the leaders.

Second-placed London City are at Coventry, fourth-in-the-table Durham face Sheffield United, it’s fifth versus sixth as Bristol City host Charlton, while Sunderland make the long trip to Lewes and Watford prepare to play Blackburn.
