Barcelona’s two ‘priority’ summer signings confirmed | OneFootball

The two leading summer transfer targets at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday been confirmed once more in the media.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who point towards such reinforcements being sought in goal, and on the left wing.

When it comes to the former, the clear favourite on the part of Deco and co. is Espanyol standout Joan García, fresh off a spectacular individual campaign at the RCDE Stadium.

The left wing options are more varied, but one name remains above all others in the eyes of the Barcelona brass – Luis Díaz.

Liverpool wide-man Díaz is held in high regard by the Blaugrana coaching staff and board alike, appreciated for his direct nature, as well as his ability to play in a more central role when required.

Whilst a list of backup options for both positions has been drawn up, Joan and Díaz can therefore be considered the ‘priority’ additions to Hansi Flick’s Barca squad with a view to next season.
