Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has on Thursday continued to etch his name ever further into the history books of European football.
This comes by way of his latest start on the continent.
Barca, of course, marked their return to European action a short time ago.
In the club’s Champions League season opener, the Blaugrana have made the trip to the Stade Louis II, for a meeting with Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
The aforementioned Lamine, as expected, was afforded a place in the visitors’ starting XI for the clash, taking his place on the right of Barcelona’s frontline.
And, as alluded to above, in the process, the Spanish international has secured for himself a place in the history books.
As revealed by Bleacher Report, Lamine has tonight overtaken the trio of Jude Bellingham, Youri Tielemans and Warren Zaïre-Emery as the player aged 17 or under with the most appearances in the Champions League.
