Sections of the Barcelona fanbase in attendance at the club’s latest outing made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at president Joan Laporta.

Xavi’s troops, of course, are fresh off a return to winning ways on Monday night.

After welcoming Real Sociedad to Catalunya’s capital, the Blaugrana ultimately emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result.

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha bagged the goals on the evening, guiding Barcelona back into 2nd in the La Liga table in the process.

And yet, as alluded to above, en route to as much, the atmosphere proved something of a volatile one at Montjuïc.

Amid what has proven an altogether underwhelming campaign for Barca, the club’s supporters moved to point the finger of blame, to at least some extent, at president Joan Laporta.

This came during last night’s matchup, as sections of the home crowd were heard repeatedly belting out chants of ‘Barca, yes! Laporta, no!’
