With Nico Gonzalez set for another loan exit from FC Barcelona this summer, there are a host of clubs interested in securing his services.

As confirmed by the 21-year-old’s father in an interview, FC Porto are one of the clubs keen on signing Nico, while clubs in Spain and England are also keen.

As far as La Liga is concerned, clubs such as Real Betis, Valencia, and Villarreal are looking at the young midfielder as an option.

Now, Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Nico’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has even offered his services to Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old La Masia graduate spent the last campaign out on loan at Valencia, but endured an injury-riddled season. Even then, he did show some signs of his talent and quality.

However, there is no space for Nico in Xavi’s plans at Barcelona currently thanks to the arrival of Ilkay Gundogan and the impending signing of Oriol Romeu.

As such, the Spanish midfielder will be shipped out on loan yet again even though his desire is to succeed Barcelona. Recent reports suggest that even Girona are trying to convince Nico to join them but he is leaning towards Porto.

But, a move to the Premier League could also be on the cards with Mendes offering up his services to both Aston Villa and Wolves. The latter have shown an interest in the Barcelona starlet for a while and with Ruben Neves leaving, there could be a vacancy that Nico can fill.

With the Blaugrana looking to clear out some of the unwanted players from their squad at the earliest, Nico’s exit could materialise very soon. The only thing that remains to be decided is where he ends up next season.
