A number of players from FC Barcelona’s reserve team, Barça Altletic, will be moving on this summer after their relegation from the RFEF Primera Division.
Pau Prim, Aleix Garrido, and Diego Percan have all secured their exits while the likes of Arnau Pradas and Sergi Dominguez are expected to follow suit in the coming days.
Now, Gerard Romero reports that another Barcelona youngster, Ander Astralaga is close to leaving the club this summer.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper is expected to sign for La Liga 2 outfit Granada on loan for a season. He will travel to complete his medical and finalise the agreement this week.
Astralaga has been at La Masia since 2018 having joined from the Athletic Club youth academy. The young shot-stopper is rated highly within the club and has enjoyed a steady rise through the ranks.

Astralaga has been with Barça Atletic for the last two seasons and has made 38 appearances for the reserve team, keeping 12 clean sheets in the process.
18 of those appearances came in the 2024/25 season. Following the secondary team’s relegation, though, the 21-year-old will move to Granada to play first-team football at a higher level and gain experience.
It is expected that the goalkeeper will renew his contract with Barcelona before leaving on loan, given his current deal with the club expires in 2026.
Meanwhile, it is likely that Aron Yaakobishvili will take up the mantle of the starting goalkeeper for Barça Atletic while Diego Kochen is expected to become the third-choice shot-stopper with the first team under Hansi Flick.
