An up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is all set to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
That’s according to Barca insider Víctor Navarro, who points towards Unai Hernández as the player in question.
Unai, for those not familiar with his name, is arguably the standout player currently on the books of the reserve team in Catalunya’s capital.
The 20-year-old has long earned rave reviews for his performances with Barca Atlètic, owing chiefly to his impressive output in the attacking third.
Across the season to date, Unai, from midfield, has racked up nine goals and four assists in 20 appearances.
In turn, it may come as something of a surprise for those of a Blaugrana persuasion to learn of the young Spaniard preparing for an incoming transfer.
As per the aforementioned Víctor Navarro, Unai is on the verge of making the move to the Saudi Pro League, for €5 million.
This comes with the player himself having made clear his desire to move on, in the knowledge that his first-team chances at Barcelona are limited at best.
The transfer is expected to be made official over the coming days.
