Barcelona will be desperate to sell players during the upcoming summer transfer window as they look to return to the 1:1 rule in La Liga and safely splash the cash on players to cover the holes in the squad.

However, they have decided that some of their assets are too valuable to offload, despite all the ongoing financial issues.

Joan Laporta had confirmed that the club had received offers for Gavi, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, Pau Cubarsi, and Lamine Yamal, among others, but had turned them down, and some, with no intention to sell.

PSG is one of the teams interested in Barcelona’s young gems, apparently, and have had Gavi and Yamal on their radar. Their efforts to sign the latter, especially, have intensified over the last few weeks, unfortunately to no success.

PSG informed about concrete decision

According to a report published by AS, Lamine Yamal’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has informed PSG that Lamine Yamal is nontransferable for Barcelona. They are not even ready to listen to offers for the player, let alone sell him.

PSG reportedly wanted Yamal to replace Kylian Mbappe at the club, who is set to leave for Real Madrid in the summer and were ready to offer €200 million for his services.

However, any number is too little for Barcelona for Yamal. Even his release clause of €1 billion might not be enough to move him away from the Catalan giants.

Promotion to first-team

Yamal has been playing for the Barcelona senior team all season, but under the guise of Barça Atletic. However, he is en route to becoming one of the youngest-ever players to be promoted to the senior team from La Masia next season.

Pau Cubarsi, Hector Fort, and Marc Guiu are all in line to earn a promotion, first-team number, and a higher salary starting next season, as well.
