An insight into the current interest level in the signature of Barcelona star Vitor Roque has on Tuesday been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards little movement behind the scenes when it comes to as much.

The subject of frontman Roque’s future has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last 48 hours.

As much comes after the Brazilian’s agent, Andre Cury, dropped something of a bombshell on Barcelona.

During an interview with RAC1, Cury stated outright that, if his client is not afforded a more prominent role over the campaign’s final weeks, they may be left with no choice but to seek out a transfer.

Even more surprising, though, was the fact that the agent pointed towards any such move as being set to come not in the form of a loan, but a permanent one.

The Barcelona brass, for their part, were left largely unmoved by such comments, adamant that they, and no others, will ultimately decide the future of the club’s winter addition.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, there is little for the Blaugrana to currently deliberate over, anyway.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of the aforementioned Sport that ‘no one, to date, has knocked on the door of Deco or the player’s representative’.

Barcelona are yet to receive a single enquiry, regarding the kind of fee which would be required to strike a deal for Roque.
