In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo mentioned that Barcelona are willing to accept €25m for Antoine Griezmann who is currently playing on loan at Atletico Madrid. It has been revealed that the Catalan giants could lower their asking price for the French attacker next summer which could open the door for Diego Simeone’s side to seal a permanent move for him.

Griezmann’s Impressive Numbers As A Substitute This Season

Griezmann has made a decent start to this campaign as he has managed to put in a few productive displays for Atletico in the final third. The 31-year-old has registered three goals and one assist in eight matches for the Spanish outfit this season across all competitions.

The experienced forward has made most of his appearances off the bench and has been a good performer as a substitute based on his average of 1.5 shots and 0.7 key passes per 90 minutes in La Liga. Still, someone of Griezmann’s experience and skill set is no doubt good enough to feature in the Spanish top-flight week in week out. At the moment, Barcelona have no room in their squad to keep hold of Griezmann.
