FC Barcelona are set to start training for the upcoming preseason about one month from now, i.e., July 13th, the date that Hansi Flick has set for players to return from their vacations.

Following the start of training on this date, the Catalan team will continue to train for ten days before leaving for their preseason tour of Asia. This tour of Asia will last for 12 days and will include three friendlies.

Barcelona to play another friendly after the Asian tour

The first of these friendlies will take place on 27th July, against Vissel Kobe, the Japanese club that will be celebrating its 30th anniversary on that day, at Noevir Stadium.

Following this game, the Blaugranes will travel to South Korea to play two more friendlies. On July 31st, they will face FC Seoul at the World Cup stadium in Seoul, and on August 4th, they will face Daegu FC in the Korean team’s home stadium.

After these three friendlies, Hansi Flick’s team will return to Barcelona. However, according to Mundo Deportivo, they will play one more friendly after that, in the Moroccan city of Casablanca.

A change of plans

The Blaugrana team will get one day of rest, August 5th, before embarking on the journey to the African city.

Previously, the club was considering playing this friendly before their tour of Asia. However, in consensus with the sporting director and the head coach, it was decided to move this friendly to August 7th, after the tour of Asia and before the Joan Gamper Trophy, as it would give the team one more day to train before leaving for Japan.

This Joan Gamper Trophy match will be played on August 10th, and the Barcelona players for the next season will also be presented to the home fans at this event. The Italian side, Como, is expected to be their rival in this competition at this time.
