Barcelona are not going to file a complaint with UEFA over the refereeing display in their 1-0 defeat against Inter on Tuesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Republicca, the Spanish side will not be picking a fight with UEFA over the conduct of the referee in their recent Champions League defeat.

Barcelona lost the game 1-0 thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu’s superb strike from range in the first half when Inter were on top.

Later in the game, it seemed that Barcelona would surely be awarded a penalty but it was not given.

Denzel Dumfries had handled the ball in the box but the VAR review led to play continuing without a spot kick.

Barcelona have decided not to make a formal complaint to UEFA to maintain their relationship and hope for a better refereeing display in the game at Camp Nou next week.
