Barcelona continue to prefer the idea of getting rid of want-away midfielder Arturo Vidal outright rather than on a loan basis according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Chilean international midfielder recently stormed out of training and is pushing for a move to Inter, where he will be reunited with former manager Antonio Conte, who played a massive role in him becoming the player he is today.
Barcelona need to raise €150 million by June 30 for financial fair play purposes and it is for this reason that the Catalan club want an outright sale rather than a simple loan move.
The reigning Spanish champions are said to want €20-25 million to let Vidal go and if it came down to it, they would accept a loan move on the basis that the club loaning him were obliged to buy him outright at the end of the season.
