Just who, though, is likely to be shown the exit door in Catalunya’s capital?

Sport point towards five departures as being likely, four of which already appear to have been decided upon.

Raphinha is front and centre, amid intense interest in the services of the Brazilian international by way of the Saudi Pro League.

Also on the agenda are the permanent sales of three players currently out on loan from Barcelona, in the form of Eric García, Clément Lenglet and, most notably, Ansu Fati.

And one high-profile defensive outgoing is also expected, albeit with as much likely to depend on which of Andreas Christensen and Jules Koundé attracts more widespread interest.

Deco and his team of directors are confident such business would raise a sum in the region of €200 million, a figure which would prove significant both in easing the Blaugrana’s financial woes, and aiding their efforts to reinforce the club’s playing squad with a view to next season.
