Barcelona conclude their pre-season campaign with the prestigious Joan Gamper Trophy against Como 1907 at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Sunday.
The Catalans face the Serie A side in what promises to be an emotional evening, with Cesc Fàbregas returning to his former club as manager.
There could be appearances for several unregistered players, including Marcus Rashford after his loan move from Manchester United.
Hansi Flick’s side secured three victories during their Asian tour and will be keen to maintain that momentum ahead of their La Liga opener against Mallorca.
Marcus Rashford is expected to make his Barcelona home debut despite remaining unregistered with La Liga. The England international arrived on loan from Manchester United and can participate in friendlies whilst registration issues are resolved before competitive fixtures begin.
Iñaki Peña is expected to start in goal as the only officially registered goalkeeper with La Liga. However, Wojciech Szczęsny is available for selection despite awaiting re-registration following his new two-year contract extension. Joan García also remains unregistered but can feature in friendly matches.
Marc-André ter Stegen underwent back surgery on 29 July and is sidelined for 3-5 months. The German goalkeeper was stripped of the captaincy following a dispute over medical reports, with Ronald Araújo named temporary captain. Ferran Torres underwent emergency appendix surgery in May and remains unavailable.
Barcelona predicted XI: Peña; Koundé, Araújo, Cubarsí, Balde; De Jong, Pedri, Gavi; Yamal, Lewandowski, Rashford.
Barcelona face Como at the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Sunday, 10th August 2025. Kick-off is 8pm BST.
