It must be a while since Barcelona entered a game like this as the real underdogs. But that’s what they are.

Bayern are unbeaten in 2020 in all competitions and have won every Champions League game this season up to this point. There’s no obvious weakness in Hansi Flick’s side, who boast world class players in pretty much every position.

Barcelona, of course, boast Lionel Messi. And he’s carried them all season. But he will need top performances from his team-mates to stand a chance of playing in another semi-final.

This game has been billed as Messi v Lewandowski but we know the Pole has a top class supporting cast. The Argentine needs his to show up.
