According to Bild, Barcelona are unwilling to make another offer to Bayern Munich for Robert Lewandowski.

Most recently, the Catalan club offered €40m plus €5m in bonuses but it still didn’t meet Bayern Munich’s valuation of €50m. Only then will the Bundesliga side be willing to negotiate.

Barcelona will receive €207m by selling 10% of La Liga TV rights but this will be used in other areas. Only if Barça sell players and remove them from their payroll will they be able to make another offer close to Bayern’s asking price for Lewandowski.

The Poland international will return for pre-season training on July 12. Bayern Munich are continuing to play hardball regarding the transfer fee and will expect Lewandowski to show, despite earlier suggestions that the 33-year-old could potentially go on strike to force a move.

Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich as he enters the final year of his contract. A final opportunity for the Bundesliga champions to collect a transfer fee for their No. 9.
