In recent days, there has been a lot of development surrounding Barcelona’s pursuit of top attacking target, Luis Diaz.
The Colombian international is one of two players Barcelona are considering as they look to shore up their ranks in the offensive unit.
However, a recent report has indicated that Liverpool have rejected an approach from Barcelona for Diaz.
The same report suggested that the Reds have no desire to part ways with Diaz, who they consider a key component in the attacking third.
However, a recent report from MARCA has indicated that Barcelona are unfazed by Liverpool rejecting their approach for Luis Diaz.
The Catalan club view the Premier League side’s hard stance as a possible negotiation tactic and remain calm despite the setback.

As mentioned earlier, Liverpool have made their position clear. They have also turned away interest from Saudi club Al-Nassr. Despite his reluctance to renew his contract, which runs until 2027, the Reds are standing firm for now.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are aware that Diaz is intrigued by the idea of playing under their manager Hansi Flick.
The German is eager to have his full squad in place by July 13, when pre-season begins, but the club knows transfer deals, especially for top players, can stretch deep into the summer.
For now, though, Barcelona remain patient and are willing to wait until Liverpool soften their stance on Luis Diaz.
But while Diaz is high on their list, the club seem prepared with alternatives should Liverpool continue to resist. Marcus Rashford is one of the said backup options, though Barça are considering other candidates as well.
