Three Barcelona youngsters have been singled out for praise on the back of the club’s first outing of pre-season.
Barca, for those not aware, kicked their pre-season fixture list into gear on Thursday, in a friendly meeting with UE Olot.
The matchup, which marked Hansi Flick’s first since being appointed to the Camp Nou dugout earlier in the summer, ultimately culminated in a 1-0 Blaugrana triumph.
Pablo Torre proved himself match-winner on the night, after being laid on by La Masia sensation Toni Fernández.
Post-match, however, it was another trio of Barcelona talents who, as alluded to above, found themselves on the receiving end of well-earned praise.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of his side’s narrow defeat on Thursday, Olot head coach Pedro Dolera was asked for his take on which members of Hansi Flick’s ranks stood out for their efforts.
And Dolera went on to highlight three players, in the form of Vitor Roque, Marc Bernal, and Marc Casadó:
“In the first-half, Vitor Roque. He created difficult situations for us to defend.
“In the second-half, Marc Bernal and Marc Casadó. They knew how to give the ball the speed that Barcelona had [previously] lacked.”
