A trio of first-team stars at La Liga giants Barcelona have been included in the latest Champions League Team of the Week unveiled by UEFA.
Barcelona were of course back in action on the continent on Wednesday night.
In the first leg of a highly-anticipated Champions League semi-final tie, the Blaugrana welcomed reigning Italian champions Inter Milan to Catalunya’s capital.
When all was said and done in a thrilling affair, the spoils were shared in a 3-3 stalemate.
And along the way, a whole host of players from both teams conjured up stellar individual performances.
On the Barcelona side of things, Lamine Yamal proved himself the star of the show, dazzling throughout from his berth on the right flank.
The 17-year-old, in turn, has joined teammates Pedri and Raphinha in the official Champions League Team of the Week.
Turning attentions towards Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan squad, and the trio of Francesco Acerbi, Denzel Dumfries and Nicolò Barella are rewarded for their efforts at Montjuïc with places in UEFA’s XI, too:
