The board at La Liga champions Barcelona are preparing a fresh round of negotiations with their counterparts at Manchester United this coming week.
That’s according to transfer insider Santi Aouna, who confirms that as much have been pencilled in with a view to a potential deal for Marcus Rashford.
Wide-man Rashford has of course seen his chances of securing a dream Camp Nou switch increase altogether considerably over the last 24 hours.
As much comes after Barcelona’s priority attacking target, in Nico Williams, rejected Deco and co. in favour of penning a new long-term contract with Athletic Club.
Rashford, as a result, is back on the agenda in Catalunya’s capital, alongside Liverpool standout Luis Díaz.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Saturday is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana intend to waste little time in ramping up their pursuit of the former.
As per a report from Santi Aouna:
‘Barcelona and Manchester United are expected to open talks in the coming days regarding Marcus Rashford.
‘The English left winger is highly motivated to join the Catalan club and is willing to make significant efforts to make the move happen.’
