Barcelona are preparing to unveil a special edition kit for the 2025-26 season, designed specifically for La Liga’s El Clasico matches reveals kit insider Memorabilia1899 on X.
The club is expected to officially announce its new home kit next week. While leaked images of all three kits have already surfaced on social media.
Barça and Nike have been working on a special edition kit to be worn during next season’s league clashes against Real Madrid.
The shirt will pay tribute to one of the most iconic nights in the club’s modern history – an unforgettable win at the Santiago Bernabéu nearly 20 years ago.
According to the source, the kit will be inspired by the one worn on 19 November 2005, when Frank Rijkaard’s Barça stunned Real Madrid 0-3 at the Bernabeu.
That match is etched in Barça folklore for Ronaldinho’s brilliant performance, capped off with a brace that earned him a rare standing ovation from opposition fans. Samuel Eto’o had opened the scoring in the first half, setting the tone for a dominant victory.
This historic moment will be honoured through the new Clasico kit, which draws on the style of that 2005/06 away shirt.
The design will feature key visual elements reminiscent of that match, with 14-58-77 – the minutes when each of the three goals were scored expected to be woven into the jersey.
It remains to be seen how this tribute kit will align with the ongoing sponsorship deal with Spotify, which in recent years has included limited-edition designs specifically for El Clasico.
Further details, including the final design and release date, are expected to be made public soon.
