Barcelona target Wijnaldum puts onus on Liverpool to provide contract update

Gini Wijnaldum says it is on Liverpool to give an update on his future.

The Dutchman continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona when his contract expires in the upcoming summer.

And Wijnaldum has conceded his future remains up in the air.

He has told Sky Sports: "There is no update yet.

"I also think I'm not the one who should give the update. The club should do that. So if there is an update, the club will give it."
