Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez has attracted strong interest from two of Europe’s wealthiest clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
According to the latest update from El Nacional, both clubs have tabled offers that could tempt the youngster into reconsidering his long-term future.
The Spanish midfielder recently signed a contract extension with Barcelona, committing his future to the club until 2029.
However, despite his fresh renewal, Chelsea and PSG are willing to offer him a significantly higher salary—potentially doubling his current wages at Barça.
These lucrative proposals, along with the competition he faces in Barcelona’s midfield, have created a situation that the club and the player cannot ignore.
Chelsea have been actively looking for young talents as they undergo a squad rebuild. They see Fermin as a player with great potential who can develop within their system and contribute to their long-term project.
Meanwhile, PSG, known for their aggressive approach in the transfer market, view the Barcelona midfielder as an ideal fit for their high-tempo attacking football.

The French giants are constantly on the lookout for emerging talents, and they believe Fermin could play a key role in their squad if he were to make the switch.
For the player, these offers not only present a substantial financial boost but also a chance to secure a more prominent role in one of Europe’s top teams.
At Barcelona, despite his impressive performances, he has not yet established himself as a guaranteed starter. The Catalan club, however, remain firm in their stance. They have no plans to sell him, as they see him as an important part of their future.
His contract renewal until 2029 is a clear indication of the faith Barça have in his potential.
While Barcelona want to keep him, the interest from Chelsea and PSG remains serious. The financial incentives and the prospect of a leading role elsewhere make these offers difficult to ignore.
However, Fermin has always been vocal about his desire to succeed at Barcelona, the club he joined as a child and has always dreamed of representing at the highest level.
