Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal continues injury recovery in Dubai | OneFootball

Barcelona’s reliance on Lamine Yamal has been exposed this season, with the Catalans yet to win a match in which the 17-year-old has not started. They will hope to correct that in the early stages of 2025, as they are expected to remain without his services for the next couple of weeks at least.

Lamine Yamal suffered an ankle injury during Barcelona’s recent home defeat against Leganes. While the rest of his teammates have started their winter break, he has jetted to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, where he will continue his recovery process (via MD).

It is expected that Lamine Yamal will not be available when Barcelona face Barbastro in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey, although both he and the club are working hard to ensure that he can make the trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup. Hansi Flick’s side face Athletic Club in their semi-final on the 8th of January.
