Barcelona will begin the defence of their La Liga title tomorrow when they take on RCD Mallorca away at Estadi Son Moix.
Barça head coach Hansi Flick is set to be without the services of key striker Robert Lewandowski, who has still not fully recovered from the thigh muscle strain that ruled him out of action for the Joan Gamper Trophy match.
Lewandowski has not trained with the rest of the group for the entire week and the situation was the same today as he once again worked by himself at Ciutat Esportiva before heading inside the facilities.
As such, his absence for the trip to Mallorca is now pretty much guaranteed, with the veteran superstar targeting a comeback for the second La Liga game of the season against Levante, according to Que T’hi Jugues.

Barça lock horns with the newly-promoted Levante away from home at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on August 23 in Matchweek 2 of La Liga.
And Lewandowski’s aim is to be fully fit in time for the trip to Valencia to face Levante, given his return against Mallorca tomorrow appears pretty much out of the question.
In his absence, Flick is likely to turn to Ferran Torres as his option for the No. 9 role, especially with new signing Marcus Rashford yet to be registered.
However, it must be noted that Barça are working to ensure that the Manchester United loanee gets registered in time for tomorrow’s match.
If the La Liga champions are unsuccessful, someone like Dani Olmo could also become an option to play at the tip of the attack as a false-nine against Mallorca.
