Barcelona endured a horror night in the capital as they were soundly beaten by Atlético Madrid.
Scorer: Carrasco 45+3âČ
Atlético had the better of the opening half and after Marc-André ter Stgen made a fine save and Marcus Llorente hit the bar, they deservedly took the lead.
The goal came deep into injury-time when the goalkeeper came a long way from home, only to be beaten to the ball by Yannick Carrasco, who finished well from distance into the empty net.
Barçaâs night worsened after the break when they lost Gerard PiquĂ© to what looked like it could be a potentially serious knee injury.
The result moves the Rojiblancos level at the top (with a game in hand), while Barcelona sit 10th after eight games.
